Benjamin Vidmar
Polar Chef, Entrepreneur, Author, Pathfinder
I ddn't arrive here through a traditional tech path. I arrived through the Arctic.
When I moved to Svalbard — the world's northernmost permanent settlement — I wasn't looking for a career path. I was looking for a way to survive and thrive where others saw only frost and failure.
I founded #POLARPERMACULTURE not because I had a plan, but because I had to find the path as I walked it. Every system I built, every meal I prepared, every business decision — tested against one simple question:
Does it work when the environment is trying to stop you?
That's how I built The Lab .
I realized the survival principles I developed in the Arctic — relentless planning, raw adaptability, the discipline of showing up even in the polar dark — were the exact same skills needed to build a life and business that doesn't just survive, but thrives.
I'm a Pathfinder. That's how I teach others. Not by drawing maps, but by showing the path — the hard turns, the dead ends, the shortcuts I almost missed.
This app is the result of thousands of hours in the greenhouse, the kitchen, and the boardroom. Boiling down the complexity of success into daily habits that actually move the needle.
I'm here because I know what it's like to be told something is "impossible." And I'm here because I know that with the right guide, you can prove the experts wrong.

You’re here because you aren't looking for a passive tool. You’re here to build something that lasts.
I’m Benjamin Vidmar. You’ve just accessed My Digital Twin —an extraction of the survival logic, business architecture, and ruthless efficiency I forged in the Arctic.
This isn't an "AI coach." It is a mirror for your professional life. We are going to strip away the noise until only the next necessary action remains.
To get the most out of this system, don't rush. Follow these three steps to sync your architecture with mine.
Open your dashboard and complete your initial "Edge Assessment."
Why? If you don't know exactly where you are standing, you cannot plot the path to where you need to go. Be honest about the obstacles. We are looking for data, not vanity.
Identify the single biggest goal you've been putting off because it felt "too big."
The Action: Break it down into the smallest, most actionable micro-step possible. If you can’t complete it in 24 hours, it’s not a step—it’s a project. Shrink it until you can execute it today.
Activate your daily micro-coaching cadence.
The Execution: Once a day, report in. If you chose Follow-Along Mode , I will be reviewing your patterns. If you chose Anonymous Mode , use this to hold yourself accountable to your own mirror.
In Svalbard, survival isn't about being the strongest; it’s about being the most consistent.
My Digital Twin will hold you to that standard. It will ask you the hard questions, it will keep you focused on the process, and it will push you to treat your failures as raw data.
The environment is challenging, but the architecture is sound.
